Elegance and exclusivity, this is how you and your bike will look with these jewels of fine leather goods, that is why it is important that you take into account some tips for their care:

Councils:

Read the garment label well

In the packaging you will find a brochure  with  instructions for  correct cleaning of your SB part. Not all skins are the same, so we recommend that you keep the instructions, although you can always  consult them at www.singularbicycle.com/cuída-de-la-piel

Polish the leather pieces from time to time.

The accumulation of dust can cause cracks to appear in the leather. Remove the dust with a dry cloth or a soft brush. Deepen by wiping with a damp cloth. Wipe the cloth in a gentle, circular motion. Rustic leather can be cleaned with a cloth dampened in a mild soap solution.

Hydration of the leather.

The skin is a natural fiber so it is important to apply balms  and natural waxes to guarantee its flexibility and impermeability. For outdoor use of SB objects we recommend that at least  every two months apply a balm  with a base of beeswax and jojoba, which you can easily get  in Frame.

Test the product in a small area out of sight first. Wait a few minutes to remove it and check the area to verify that the skin has not deteriorated.

Apply the product with a cloth  from  neutral colored cotton making it  evenly, allow one to three hours to dry and shine with another cloth.

Let the leather dry.

If your SB item gets wet, remove it from the bike, clean it  with a damp cloth and let it dry in the shade  before applying a moisturizer or balm, "Objects  Wet leather shoes should be dried naturally in a cool, well-ventilated place. Don't expose them to heat. "

Waterproof

Make leather garments waterproof

Vegetable or tannin-based leathers keep the pores open, thus  which makes them more permeable, thanks to that over time they acquire their own patina that gives exclusivity to the piece. Even so  There are various leather protectors or waterproofing products on the market, but you should read their label carefully before buying them. A silicone or acrylic spray polymer can help preserve the shine and appearance of leather.

We recommend the continued use of beeswax-based products, over time the object  will be waterproofed by saturation  although you must take into account that the skin is  will darken  Natural way.

If at any time you decide to keep your SB object, do not use a plastic bag, a cloth bag will always be better.   Protects from moisture, heat and direct sunlight.
